Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day is a American R&B/Soul singer-songwriter. The singer has received various accolades like the Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for the Academy Award. Andra Days is a strong performer who writes stunningly. In addition, she is an expert in throwback R&B, her musical roots are blues and gospel jazz. Her debut album Cheers To The Fall (2015) is an immediate record in the hiphop/R&B genre and led to a number of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Stand Up for Something (2017), her contribution to Marshall's soundtrack, earned her both awards. Records she began work on her debut album, Cheers to The Fall, featuring Adrian Gurvitz. The album featured Rise Up which has become an international song of the social justice movement. Day was awarded two Grammy nominations including Best R&B Album. The album was released The United States Vs. Billie Holiday in 2019, an album that explores the life and career of jazz legend Billie Holiday. The United States against Billie Holiday came out in 2021. It was the same year she appeared as Holiday. Andi Matichak is an American actress. Her first appearance on television was in and appeared on shows such as Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods. She then began her film debut with Halloween as well as its sequels in the role of Allyson. Andi matichak was an American actress born in Framingham on the 3rd day of May, 1994.
